Medical Education

The Department of Medical Education at Bacha Khan Medical College is keen to provide comprehensive and innovative education to our future healthcare professionals. Our goal is to equip the students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide high-quality evidence-based healthcare to the community. We achieved this through an integrated organ system-based curriculum that combines basic sciences with clinical skills training and practical experience.

Our students have access to a state-of-the-art simulation lab where they can have hands-on experience in a controlled and supervised environment. Our department also plays an important role in faculty development. We provide continuous support to our faculty members to enhance their teaching and research skills.  This allows for the continuous evaluation and renewal of the medical curriculum.

Moreover, the faculty members at the department are actively involved in educational research projects. We conduct research to investigate various aspects of medical education such as curriculum implementation, student assessment, and teaching methods. The findings from these studies are used to contribute to the improvement and advancement of medical education at our institution. Through our dedication to excellence in education, continuous curriculum improvement, and educational research, we ensure that our future physicians receive a comprehensive and well-rounded medical education.
