The department of pharmacology is one of the pre-clinical science departments of the Bacha Khan Medical College, which makes an integral link between basic medical sciences and clinical sciences. It focuses on teaching and training of undergraduates in medicine.

The core curriculum and syllybus approved by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council(PMDC) & Higher eEducation Commission(HEC) of Pakistan are followed to provide quality pre-clinical and clinical education in Pharmacoly and Therapeutics.
